the location is central (a big plus for exploring). the room had everything i needed, like an umbrella. i received an upgrade to celebrate my anniversary and some complimentary drinks, charmed by this gesture. i really appreciated the thoughtful details.

steep charge lacking tissue
the friendly staff gave a sweet surprise since it was my anniversary, i guess that was alright.
The incidental charge was a bit steep at £500, i was unaware of it. someone accessed my room without permission to leave anniversary treats. I appreciate the gesture, but some folks value privacy. also, the breakfast didn't have tissues. I mean, come on.

Really good Stay, Spa and Comfort Highlights
spa access comfortable bed
I greatly appreciated the spa access, including after checkout. The bed was comfortable. I found the room spacious, and I especially enjoyed the shower and bath. The staff's helpfulness added positively to my experience.
The mini-bar had an auto-charge system. This left us without space for our own items that needed to be kept cold. A dedicated space ' personal items in the mini-bar would be welcome.
