the elevator made some loud beeping noises. i heard it from inside my room. this happened every time someone used it, quite often.

the location is amazing, just steps from the tube station! staff was super friendly and helpful, really making me feel at home. i totally loved the modern bathroom, with all the fancy fixtures and a spacious shower.

the friendly staff gave a sweet surprise since it was my anniversary, i guess that was alright.
The incidental charge was a bit steep at £500, i was unaware of it. someone accessed my room without permission to leave anniversary treats. I appreciate the gesture, but some folks value privacy. also, the breakfast didn't have tissues. I mean, come on.

i planned a surprise trip. The room had some thoughtful extras. A tv screen allowed for extra pillow orders. The retreat's prompt pool service was great. I also enjoyed the clean gym and pool area. It felt easy to relax there. Breakfast felt very tasty too.
i felt the check in process was chaotic. The area looked very busy. There wasn't enough staff to assist guests.

I greatly appreciated the spa access, including after checkout. The bed was comfortable. I found the room spacious, and I especially enjoyed the shower and bath. The staff's helpfulness added positively to my experience.
The mini-bar had an auto-charge system. This left us without space for our own items that needed to be kept cold. A dedicated space ' personal items in the mini-bar would be welcome.
